Matglen Veterans Program
The Matglen Veterans Program (MVP) is a comprehensive entry-level training program designed to equip individuals with a wide range of skills necessary to thrive in the security industry with enhanced confidence.
This program not only increases the employability of the participants but also opens doors to a variety of better-paying job opportunities and higher education. The program is designed to enable participants to explore a variety of part-time and full-time employment opportunities across multiple industries.
The first program, MVP-S (Matglen Veterans Program-Security), will launch in 2025 and is comprised of 12 modules that ensure a diverse and robust training program in the security industry.

The Matglen Veterans Program focuses on creating pathways for veterans to attain sustainable employment opportunities. By partnering with various employers, MVH has developed a program that prioritises realistic employment outcomes. Participants who successfully complete the MVP will not only secure job interviews but will also have the flexibility to choose between part-time and full-time positions.
Furthermore, the program includes mentorship from security subject matter experts. This component offers learners essential real-time advice and support, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the employment landscape effectively. MVH is committed to fostering an environment where veterans can thrive professionally, ensuring a smooth transition into civilian careers.
Upon successful completion of all modules, candidates are well-prepared to showcase a high level of competency in the field. The expansion of the program for the future will introduce new additions, including the Matglen Veterans Program Cybersecurity (MVP-CS), the Matglen Veterans Program Health & Safety (MVP-HS), and the Matglen Veterans Program Construction (MVP-C). This initiative aims to provide alternative program for veterans in other industries.
ENROLMENT CRITERIA:
Currently serving and ex-service personnel are eligible. Must have received a minimum of one day of pay serving in the armed forces.
Applicant must be on a low income as defined by the program guidelines.
Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week per week.
All applicants must be able to provide necessary documentation to verify their service, income status, and work capability. Further details regarding the application process and additional support services will be provided upon initial inquiry.
The program is available for spouses, partners, and dependents over 18, as long as funding permits.

1. Introduction
Welcome to the Matglen Veterans Program (MVP). By enrolling in and participating in this program, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all applicants, participants, and associated parties. Please read them carefully as they outline your rights and responsibilities regarding your participation.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for enrolment in the MVP, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be currently serving or ex-service personnel who have received a minimum of one day of pay while serving in the armed forces.

Salary must not exceed £50,000
Be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.
Provide all necessary documentation to verify service, income status, and work capability.

Cancellation Policy for the Matglen Veterans Program
Policy Overview
The Matglen Veterans Program (MVP) is committed to providing participants with high-quality training opportunities to enhance their employability. We understand that circumstances may arise requiring participants to cancel or postpone their enrollment. This cancellation policy outlines the procedures and terms applicable to cancellations.
Cancellation Terms
Cancellation Notice: Participants must notify the program administration of their intent to cancel enrollment at least 14 days before the scheduled start date of the program. This ensures adequate time to reallocate resources and spaces to other applicants.
Refund Eligibility: Cancellations made within the 14-day notice period are eligible for a full refund of program fees. Should a participant cancel within less than 14 days prior to the start date, a cancellation fee of £245 will be deducted from the refunded amount.
No Refund Condition: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the program's start date, except in cases of documented medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances reviewed and approved by the program administration.
Deferred Enrollment: Participants who wish to defer their enrollment due to unforeseen circumstances may apply to transfer their enrollment to a future program date without incurring penalties. Requests must be submitted in writing and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Documentation Requirements: Participants cancelling due to extenuating circumstances must provide appropriate documentation to validate their claims (e.g., medical certificates, military orders, etc.).
Special Considerations
In cases where funding or available spaces are limited, priority will be given to participants who comply with the cancellation policy terms and provide timely notice. Spouses, partners, and dependents over the age of 18 are also subject to the cancellation policy outlined above.
